Outdoor Flood Lights

LEDs (light emitting diodes) are fast becoming the best way to light up any space for several reasons. They are cheap, efficient and more powerful than any other form of commercial lighting available. LED technology has advanced greatly to a point where we can light outdoor stadiums, arenas, playgrounds and other large open spaces with LED outdoor flood lights.

As far as the cost of running these lights are concerned, as mentioned before, they are much cheaper than their traditional counterparts. LED lights can save between 50 and 70 percent of the electricity costs of high pressure sodium vapor lamps, and over 80 percent of the electricity costs of halogen lamps.  If this weren’t enough, LED lights last for 3 to 5 times as long as HPS lamps, metal halide or halogen floodlights, making them a cheaper purchase overall. LED outdoor flood lights are also maintenance free. They also put out more luminous flux (the intensity or brightness of light) as compared to other bulbs for the same power consumption.
